According to the online report, Jio plans to bring a triple play plan with a validity of 28 days. The plan brings unlimited voice calls, 100 GB data, Jio Home TV service and subscription to Jio apps. The employees of Jio are testing it.
On the other hand, there is a plan to introduce a combo plan involving broadband, landline and TV subscriptions. For this, GeogigaFiber will charge Rs 600 per month. It has been learned that Jio GigaFiber subscribers will be able to connect 40 devices to their smart home network. There will be a fee of up to Rs 1,000.
A recent report by BankAm-Merrill Lynch claimed that Jio could bring three subscription plans for its GigaFiber service. The initial plan will be of internet connectivity. It will get data from the speed of 100 Mbps. IPTV will also get access to the second plan. The third plan will come with Internet access, IPTV service and IoT service. The price of the plan will start from Rs 500 and will go up to Rs 1,000.
The official price of using Jio GigaFiber has not been revealed yet. During the trial phase, customers in select cities are reported to have a Jio GigaFiber connection on security deposits of Rs 2,500 or Rs 4,500. This security amount is for the ONT device.
In the Jio Fiber Preview offer, internet is available at a speed of 100 Mbps. Along with this, free subscription of Jio apps is also given.
